FAQ

Q. How many golf lessons should I take?

Ans. Everyone’s starting point is different. The number of golf lessons you should take depends on your goals, existing skills, and how well you pick up on the new skills being taught. Our lessons are flexible to meet most needs. You may want to set up a series of five lessons or more to get started with or just try out one session to see how well you benefit from our instructors.

Q. How do I find golf lessons?

Ans. It is always best to learn as much as you can about the golf lessons and instructor before choosing a provider. We encourage you to choose a golf course that has a large program, one that offers various types of gold lessons, and one with numerous class options, including private lessons or group lessons.

Q. How do I find a good golf instructor?

Ans. There are many things that go into who is a good golf instructor. At the heart of this is having access to a professional you can trust and enjoy working with – and even better, you want to be able to know they have success not just on the golf course themselves, but with teaching and working with others as well. Learn as much as you can about the instructor’s history, skills, and student successes.

Q. What is a full set of golf clubs?

Ans. A full set of golf clubs includes 12 clubs. It should include 3 woods, 1 wedge, 1 putter, 1 hybrid, and 6 irons.

Q. How to choose a golf instructor?

Ans. When trying to choose a good golf instructor, be sure to choose one who you have good chemistry with so that you can easily communicate in order to build your skills. Look for an instructor that has a strong track record in training players to success, and who shows patience in their instruction. As long as you can communicate properly with your chosen instructor, you will be able to learn the skills that you need in order to win.

Q. How to find a good golf instructor?

Ans. There are many ways in which you can find a good golf instructor, but one of the most effective ways is by word of mouth. If you speak to your friends or with people at your golf club, you can ask for referrals to a golf instructor with a strong track record. At Makefield Highlands, our PGA Professionals turn students into players, and are certified in all aspects of golf instruction, ready to take your game to the next level.

Q. How many golf lessons should I take?

Ans. If you are a golfing novice, then we highly recommend that you take at least five lessons before you hit the course. You should take at most one or two weeks between each lesson, as you will see more favorable results when you are able to continue practicing your skills. Once ready, you can take to the course with confidence and improve your game as you keep on playing.
